POSITIVES

Availability of Songs: Good. Has the potential to be great music streaming app. Their curated playlists and albums are a treat. You NOT find all the songs that you are looking for but you'd get MOST of them. Perhaps, the best desi app for English songs lovers.

Quality of the Songs: Freaking mindblowing. Probably, the ONLY reason I use Gaana is because of its awesome quality of music. Only happy to pay if it continues to provide joy to audiophiles like me.

Search: Very powerful. Neatly divided into Song/Artist/Band and so on. I always got what I was looking for as long as they have it in their library.

NEGATIVES

Customer Support for Paid Customers: Customer support? What customer support are you talking about? There is NOTHING of that in Gaana. Aeons ago, I emailed through the app about some issue I don't even remember. I am yet to hear from them. So for Gaana, its simple: just pay the monies, hear what you find, No customer support for you!

Ease of Use: Recently they changed their UI, and it sucks big time. They went a step back and changed their strategy of navigation from Swipe to Touch. A super-duper dumb strategy. Earlier, it was easy to swipe from Playlists to Albums with one hand without using the back button or haptic key on my mobile. Now, I have to touch the Playlists option, and if I have to go back, click the Back haptic key and touch the Album option. Duuuuuhhhh!

Music Player: It's pretty good but again has the potential to be great. One big complaint I have is that I have to click turn Shuffle ON every time I open the app to hear some playlist or album. Why cant it remember and switch it on by default?

Exiting the App: To exit the app, I have to click the back haptic key three times. Not cool bro, not cool :(
